I was hoping it would.It is interesting (in a bad way) that the audio doesn't work on your PC.I have two old notebooks that came with Windows Vista and the Soundmax audio works just fine on mine.I didn't have to do a thing.The only other suggestion I can offer if you have not done so already is to be connected to the internet, click on the multimedia audio controller, click on the driver tab, click on update driver and select the automatic search option.See if a driver is found by windows update.
